Fat Burning Foods

Fat burning foods are a natural way to reduce the fat tissue in your body. They are also called negative calorie foods and catabolic foods because their processing burns more calories than the food actually brings in. Fat burning foods are natural plant foods and their positive effect is due to the fact that they contain cellulose, which is low in calories but burns a lot of fats, while the organism digests it. Generally most of these fruits contain Vitamin C as well, which also acts as a fat burner.

You might think that eating bulk quantities of fat burning foods is the magic wand for becoming pin thin but actually it is not that easy because you will hardly be able to eat daily 5 kgs of broccoli, for example. And this is given the fact that broccoli are delicious, while some of the other fat burning foods, for instance onion, are hardly the dessert of your dreams.

Fat burning foods have many advantages – most of them are tasty, generally they are cheap or not very expensive (compared to meat, for example) and are not difficult to find – you just go to the supermarket and buy them without having to see a doctor, get a prescription, or order them from a distant land. I guess you are already asking yourself, “But how could I had not known about this?”. Well, the existence of fat burning foods has not been a secret but maybe you only knew that particular foods are healthy and good for your diet, without knowing how exactly. But now, when you know, you will have one more reason to eat fat burning fruits and vegetables.

On the other hand, many people complain that eating fruit all day makes them feel hungry all the time and that they do not have enough energy to carry on with their daily routines. This is not surprising – you are inputting not so many calories, use more energy to process them and there is no energy left for hard work. But the good news is that the lack of energy that your body feels when you eat fat burning foods is compensated by energy obtained from your fat reserves, which otherwise will stay untouched for years.

In this relation, it is a very big mistake to keep to fat burning foods for a couple of days and then rush for steaks and pizzas. You might think that after a couple of fat burning days you have burned enough fat and deserve a reward but after your fat reserves have started burning, rich fatty and carby food will be stored as fat reserves because your body is programmed, after a period of starvation, to store reserves, when more food is available.

A way to overcome the constant hunger (if you have it) is to have at least ten servings a day. This might sound shocking at first but if you eat once in 60-90 minutes for the period of the daytime when you are awake, you will see that it is not only possible but even more enjoyable. Of course, all the ten servings should be fat burning foods.

If you add exercise to your eating of fat burning foods, you will achieve even better results because exercise will speed up your metabolism additionally. If you exercise, you might feel the need for more carbs and proteins daily but this is OK, provided that you don't overdose them. Only bad fats are to be avoided.

There are more than 100 foods that are fat burners. Some fat burners are stronger the others – i.e. the difference between the calories you input when eating them and the calories that are necessary to digest them is greater for the stronger catabolics. Grapefruit, cauliflower, brussels sprout, broccoli, apple, and cucumber are among the stronger fat burning foods. Other foods that also have good fat burning effect are celery, orange, papaya, carrot, cabbage, berries, beet, zucchini, pineapple, spinach, garlic, lettuce, lemon, asparagus, water melon, artichokes, tomato, peppers, eggplant and many others.

In addition to fruit and vegetables, non-fat dairy products also burn fat. The reason is that dairy products contain calcium, which helps to melt the fat. Also, there are synthetic fat burners, so if you are not fond of chewing vegs all day, you can have some pills as a substitute, though there is no doubt that taking fat burning foods the natural way is the best approach.
